Courses & Region
The Murcia region and Costa Blanca offer over 30 courses within easy reach - played year-round under guaranteed sunshine. This is where we operate, and we know every fairway.
The Murcia region has become one of Europe's fastest-growing golf destinations - and for good reason. Within a 50km radius you will find 19 top-quality courses with 348 holes, a concentration of championship golf that rivals anywhere on the continent.
The Costa Blanca extends that offering further north along the Alicante coast, adding courses like Las Colinas, La Finca and Lo Romero to a region already packed with world-class venues. Designed by names like Cabell B. Robinson, Jack Nicklaus and Dave Thomas, these are not holiday courses - they are genuinely tested layouts that challenge good golfers.
Add year-round sunshine, two international airports with direct flights from the UK and Northern Europe, and a food and wine culture that makes every evening enjoyable - and you have the ideal setting for a premium golf week.
Over 300 days of sunshine per year, with an average temperature of 19°C. January in the Murcia region is warmer than a British summer.
Alicante (ALC) and Murcia (RMU) both offer direct routes from the UK, Ireland, Netherlands and Scandinavia. Most groups land within 45 minutes of the courses.
19 top-quality courses within a 50km radius in Murcia alone - meaning your group can play three completely different courses without ever driving more than 30 minutes.
Courses in the region have been designed by Cabell B. Robinson, Jack Nicklaus, Dave Thomas and Seve Ballesteros - a pedigree that speaks for itself.
The region has over 30 courses within easy reach. These six are the ones we return to most - but when you enquire, we’ll recommend the ideal combination based on your group’s level, preferences and dates.
Widely regarded as the finest course on the Costa Blanca, Las Colinas is a par-71 championship layout designed by Cabell B. Robinson, set across a 330-hectare valley of orange groves and Mediterranean hills. Named Spain's Best Golf Course at the World Golf Awards in 2015 and 2016, and ranked in Golf World's Top 100 Continental European courses - this is a course that serious golfers travel specifically to play.
La Finca has long been one of the finest courses on the Costa Blanca - a true championship test with generous fairways and demanding greens that reward good ball striking. The course is set within the La Finca Resort, offering first-class accommodation alongside the golf, making it a natural choice for group stays. Long enough to challenge low handicappers while remaining enjoyable for all levels.
Set in a dramatic natural landscape close to the coast, Lo Romero offers a visually stunning and strategically interesting round. The course works its way through pine-covered terrain with large, generous greens and excellent bunkering throughout. A favourite for groups who want a course that combines quality with scenery - and one of the most photographed layouts in the region.
Situated adjacent to Villamartin, Las Ramblas is built into a landscape of Mediterranean pines and natural ravines. The rugged terrain gives the course real character - not long, but demanding enough to reward course management and precision over power. A strong choice for a second or third round of the week when groups want variety in the layout they face.
One of the most distinctive layouts in the region - a par-72 desert-style course designed by Jack Nicklaus, inspired by the great courses of Las Vegas and Arizona. Undulating fairways roll between sandy dunes, and a spectacular 6-hectare central lake comes dramatically into play on holes 9 and 18. Ranked in Spain's Top 40 golf courses, Saurines delivers an experience unlike anything else in the area - visually striking, strategically demanding, and genuinely memorable.
Widely regarded as the finest Jack Nicklaus design in the Murcia region, El Valle is a par-71 championship layout of 6,355 metres set in a dramatic desert valley against the backdrop of the Sierra de Carrascoy mountains. Routed in a 'core format', the course rewards accuracy and strategic thinking over power - with over 5 hectares of sculpted bunkers, three large lakes affecting six holes, and greens celebrated for their quality and pace. El Valle has hosted European Tour Qualifying School events and the European Senior Tour Spanish Open, underlining its championship credentials.
